This first image pretty much summarizes my two week spring break because it consisted of many books much like the ending of this one. Over the break I read two or three romance-comedy novels, and loved them all. I also read a few dramatic romance novels and some sci-fi novels.
This is my visual metaphor. The coloring in this image makes it look a little eerie and mysterious to me. That mystery, to some people, may be frightening. For this reason, I think that this could depict fear as there are so many things that are unexplained. I also think that the leaves and branches draping over the river adds to the effect.
I chose this last image to symbolize Macbeth because, as he descends into paranoia and madness, he is unable to perceive his dreams from reality. The photo being out of focus, it can be interpreted in many different ways. One might think they see a stop sign, whereas someone else may see something completely different.
