The questions I struggled with the most were…

The historical figure I identified with (29), What I would come back as if I were to die (20), My greatest extravagance (6).

The answers I will probably change in 5 years are…(because)...

My greatest extravagance because I will probably be buying much more than a watch, especially because I will be in college and on my own. I also think I will change my motto because I'm kind of in a phase where the idea of fear is intriguing to me. The one about the talents I wish I had will also probably change because I'm probably going to have different priorities and values in 5 years.

The answers that surprised me the most were….

My greatest regret (33), my greatest fear (2), when and where I was the happiest (16)

The questions I had an instinctual reaction to and could easily answer were...

The traits I deplore in myself and others (3 and 4), the greatest love of my life (15), my most treasured possession (22), what I most dislike about my appearance (10).

Expand on one...for example, if your answer to number 29 was “Marie Antoinette”, explain why in a short paragraph.

For number 27, my answer was Veronica Roth, J.K. Rowling, Jenny Han, and John Green. I chose these authors because each of them wrote a novel or series with a story that impacted me in one way or another. J.K. Rowling is the author that made me fall in love with reading at such a young age. I read my first Harry Potter book the summer before 3rd grade, and my nose was stuck in that book until I finished the series in 4th grade (I was a slow reader). I was also really attracted to the way J.K. Rowling used foreshadowing in her works. I then moved to more of a high school level reading, and read Divergent by Veronica Roth in fifth grade. I fell in love all over again. Her words transported me to unimaginable places. I was fascinated by the way Veronica Roth was able to paint a picture in my mind as I read, and the way her words made me feel as though I was actually in the story. Allegiant, the last book in the series, was the first book I cried over. Once I finished with the Divergent series, I decided to read a book that had a movie coming out which was The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Though it was still a fictional novel, the setting was more realistic than the previous two, and the story was more mature. It was something different, but I loved it just the same. I think it's amazing how John Green uses metaphors in the novel. I also cried in this book and got strange looks from people at recess because of it. It wasn't until recently that I first picked up a Jenny Han novel. This was To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Again, the setting was more realistic, and it wasn't really the genre I would normally read. It is like a romance/comedy book, and the books I tend to like have more drama. However, this series was probably the most relatable as it is written from the perspective of a high school girl. Most of my thoughts coincide with those of the protagonist in this trilogy, though there were some times I couldn't relate... all the romance parts of the novel. All in all, these authors all had some kind of effect on the way I write and on my life in general. whether it be ideas, or introducing new hobbies and interests, they all played an integral part, and I love them all.
